Saudi Arabian Section of the Combustion Institute 11th SASCI Annual Meeting

Welcome to the 11th Saudi Arabian Section of the Combustion Institute (SAS-CI) Annual Meeting. Due to the current COVID-19 situation, this year’s event will be held “online” as a virtual conference on October 12-13, 2021.

The main theme of this year’s program is “Role of Combustion Research in Circular Carbon Economy”.

High-quality research work related to the theme is encouraged to be shared and presented at this event. The sub-themes for this year’s meeting are:

  • Climate Change and Circular Carbon Economy
  • Engines and Power Generation Systems with Lower Carbon Footprint
  • Low Carbon Fuels and CCUS
  • Hydrogen and ammonia as energy carriers
  • Fundamental Combustion Research, Measurement Techniques and Modelling
  • Analysis of Transport Technologies and Policies
  • Air Quality and Fuel Criteria Pollutants
  • Applications of ML/AI tools

Invited plenary talks will be delivered by eminent specialists.

All authors are required to submit an abstract with a maximum of 400 words. Please note that submission of a full technical paper is not required for this meeting.
